The Longest Day(s)

Liz pointed out that I now have 35-hour days. I wake up, work for about ten hours, take an hour nap, then work another ten-fifteen, sleep for eight, and repeat. Because of this, I have no concept of when things have or will happen, but I'm getting work done. The fact that Liz has been out of town this week makes the highly productive but peculiar schedule possible; she gets back on Sunday, so I don't know how things'll work then. Here's a panel:

Wow, that's pretty intense. Have you always had this much work ethic, or does it build over time?

I always had the work ethic, but rarely the follow-through to focus on one project for an extended period. I'd always work in long bursts, but usually for two or three days at a stretch, not a month. The single-mindedness has developed over time, and it's still a struggle.

Keep cranking out the pages my good man. You need a cartoonist roadie to sharpen your pencils and bring you coffee.

Just make sure you're taking care of yourself while you pump out the gorgeous pages. That schedule is a recipe for sick and that'll just put you behind. Stay well!

This is pretty much the schedule you'll be on once you've got a young 'un in the house, so it's probably good to get conditioned to it now!
